Galaxy is a great platform for accessible, reproducible microbial bioinformatics. The field of microbial bioinformatics, with its large numbers of samples and complex collection of reference genomes, poses particular challenges.
This BoF is for microbial bioinformaticians (aka. binfies) to discuss how best to use and develop Galaxy as a platform.Birds of a Feather (BoFs) are informal, self-organized meetups focused on specific topics. They are a great way to meet other like-minded community members and have an in-depth discussion on a topic of interest.
Please propose BoFs no later than July 10. After that date, new BoF signups will be closed but you are welcome to organize informal "meetups" during BCC2020.
