I'm a biomedical scientist working in the areas of genomics and bioinformatics of high-throughput data analysis. I work to improve bioinformatics pipelines applied to DNA sequencing data, from software benchmarking and implementation to interpreting genomic data. Moreover, I've done academic research bringing bioinformatics and machine learning methods together using open datasets. In particular, I'm an enthusiastic learner of statistics/data science/machine learning and how it can be applied to health sciences.
Interested in: Machine learning applied to genomics, workflow languages (Nextflow, CWL), AWS, clinical bioinformatics.
